“I URGE, THEN, THAT PETITIONS, PRAYERS, INTERCESSION, AND THANKSGIVING BE MADE FOR ALL PEOPLE…”
1 Timothy 2:1
PRAY SPECIFICALLY AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Prayer is the foundation of the work of justice, that which makes rescue and restoration possible. IJM’s offices around the world hold corporate prayer for 30 minutes every day, joining together to lift up the most urgent needs of the daily work, and we start every workday in 30 minutes of stillness individually before our Heavenly Father. Prayer is where the miracle of justice happens. Please join us in praying boldly for the end of slavery and violent abuse of those in poverty – to receive weekly prayer requests to pray for specific cases and needs, please sign up here.

2030 Vision: Please pray for IJM teams around the world as we innovate to protect more people from human trafficking and violence. By 2030, we aim to protect over 500 million people from violence, and this will only be possible by the grace of God. Please pray for wisdom and fruitful partnerships as we open new offices in the upcoming years, so that millions more will never experience violence in the first place.
Global Survivor Network: Please pray for our Global Survivor Network (GSN), an international group of survivors who are shaping and leading a movement to protect people from violence. Pray for these survivors of modern slavery, violence against women and children, and police abuse, that God would empower them as they courageously share their stories, and that they would continue to advocate powerfully for those who are most vulnerable to violence.
A Greater Movement: Pray that God would raise up more people to stand on behalf of those who suffer from human trafficking and violence. That rather than be overwhelmed by the heaviness of the issue, that people would be empowered by God’s spirit to support those who are most vulnerable to violence.
